Sex is a way for people to express and experience themselves in a sexual aspect. Our sexuality is the core of our human existence. Sexuality also naturally involves biological, physical, emotional, erotic, spiritual, and social behaviors and feelings. 

Our sexuality is an indispensable part of our lives. Thus, it is only right that we look after our sexual and reproductive health as it is a part of our overall physical and mental health. 

Being educated about reproductive and sexual anatomy and knowing how to take care of our well-being is a part of becoming sexually healthy. 

Aside from having regular sex, it is also important that we undergo several regular sexual and reproductive health tests. Here are a few routine tests that are crucial to keeping our sexual health to the optimum. 

1. STI Testing – A test to check for sexually transmitted diseases. 

2. Pap Test – This test involves collecting cells from the cervix to see if there are abnormal cells.

3. Prostate Exam – This test is conducted to see if there are any abnormalities in a man’s prostate.

4. Colonoscopy – Men by the age of 50 should consider getting a colonoscopy to check for cancers in the rectum and anus.
